Since 2014, I have been the co-chair of Manmeet Singh Bhullar's initiative aimed at legally relocating families from Afghanistan and other high-risk regions to permanent homes in Canada. Through this effort, over 800 individuals have been resettled, gaining safety, access to education, and the opportunity to transition from mere survival to thriving in their new communities.
Community Case
Community Case provides pro-bono tailored support for high-risk families and community organizations. The project addresses each situation through a structured intake process and assembles a bespoke team to resolve it. We draw on subject matter experts from all subject areas, enabling our team to take on any case.
We have successfully managed cases ranging from refugee resettlement, elder abuse, customized education plans for first-generation post-secondary students, creating growth plans for non-profits, resolving land use entitlement issues for community organizations, structuring government relations and advocacy for philanthropic organizations, amongst many others.
Our work draws on professionals from diverse areas in corporate, social, public, and philanthropic organizations. Professionals engaged in previous cases included, but are not limited to, law enforcement, doctors, lawyers, social services, adoption agencies, NGOs, corporate professionals, management consultants, and many more.
All cases remain confidential. Cases are assessed through an intake process.
